ICIEVCharge: An End-to-End EV Charging Platform Tailored to Your Organisation
icitech designs ICIEVCharge for organisations operating in the electric vehicle ecosystem — covering station discovery, payment, reservation, and fleet management within a single mobile experience, configured to each organisation's infrastructure, business model, and user base.

02 The problem
Map-Based Station Discovery and Filtering
Drivers using ICIEVCharge can view nearby or en-route charging stations on a live map within the mobile application. Stations can be filtered by location, distance, connector type, power capacity, operator, pricing, and availability. The map experience is shaped by your organisation's service model: the application can surface only your own charging network, or — where appropriate integrations are in place — consolidate information from multiple operators into a single interface. The map-based station finder, price comparison, and journey planning approach developed for the PlugXo project forms the direct experience foundation for this solution.

03 Capabilities
Connector Status, Pricing Transparency, and Reservation
Before arriving at a station, users can see which connectors are available or in use, the supported connection types, and the current tariff. Where pricing is based on kWh, duration, membership tier, or an active promotion, the mobile interface applies those rules dynamically; estimated charging time and total session cost can also be surfaced as additional indicators. Where reservation is enabled at specific points, users select a suitable time slot, reserve the connector in advance, and monitor their reservation status within the application. The journey planning feature can be enriched with the vehicle's estimated range and live station availability, allowing the application to suggest the most suitable stops along the route for longer journeys.
QR-Initiated Charging and Real-Time Session Tracking
Scanning the QR code at a charging point with the mobile application identifies the relevant connector and starts the charging session. Users monitor energy delivered, session duration, and estimated cost in real time on their screen. When the session ends, a summary — including payment details and usage history — is stored in the user account. This data provides transparency to the user and feeds the organisation's analytics infrastructure.
Mobile Payment, Digital Wallet, and Security
The payment layer is developed in integration with your organisation's preferred providers. Credit card, saved card, payment link, digital wallet, and corporate account models can all be included within the project scope. PCI DSS requirements, tokenisation, and 3D Secure are addressed in conjunction with the payment service providers' own infrastructure; icitech designs the payment experience as an integrated component of your organisation's finance and customer systems.
Membership, Promotions, and Corporate Fleet Management
ICIEVCharge can be configured for individual drivers as well as corporate fleet and contracted customer scenarios. Separate tariffs, discounts, complimentary usage allowances, or monthly limits can be defined for different user groups; where a loyalty programme is linked to the mobile charging experience, points, vouchers, or membership benefits can be integrated into the payment flow. For corporate fleets, authorisation can be managed at vehicle, driver, and company level; charging expenditure can be directed to a company account and exported to your ERP by cost centre. This approach transforms EV charging from a consumer channel into a complementary component of fleet expense management.
AI-Assisted Charging
An AI and LLM-based mobile assistant can be added to the application according to your organisation's requirements. Users can query the most suitable rapid charging point on a route, or review historical spend, through natural-language conversation. The assistant combines past charging behaviour, tariff data, and route information to produce personalised recommendations. Scenarios such as demand forecasting and optimal charging time are scoped according to your organisation's data maturity and business model.
04 How it works
ERP, CRM, Charging Infrastructure, and BI Integrations
ICIEVCharge is developed to operate in integration with CRM, ERP, customer membership systems, payment infrastructure, charge management systems, and BI platforms. User and membership data is drawn from your CRM, billing data from your ERP, station status from the charging infrastructure, and usage analytics from your BI environment. OCPP, OCPI, and your existing API architecture are assessed during technical analysis and included in the integration scope accordingly — so the mobile application functions as a connected digital channel within your broader estate, rather than an isolated data silo.

Operator and Management Dashboards
Behind the mobile user experience, dedicated management screens are developed so that your operations teams can centrally manage stations, tariffs, users, promotions, payments, and operational status. Operations staff monitor utilisation rates, fault status, and revenue performance from a single dashboard. BI integration makes data such as location-based usage, hourly demand, average session duration, and customer behaviour available for analysis — insights that directly inform decisions on new station investment and pricing strategy.
Tailored to Your Organisation: A Purpose-Built E-Mobility Solution, Not an Off-the-Shelf Package
ICIEVCharge is not a standard application that delivers the same experience to every customer. User journeys, brand experience, reservation model, payment processes, pricing structure, charging infrastructure, and integrations are scoped individually for each organisation. icitech designs the solution end to end, with strategy, UX/UI, mobile development, backend, integration, cloud, and data teams working together. The result is not simply a charging application — it is a sustainable digital channel that fits your organisation's e-mobility business model and scales as your network grows.

06 FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
01Does ICIEVCharge work with our existing charging hardware, regardless of manufacturer?
ICIEVCharge is built to integrate with a range of charging infrastructure providers, independent of brand, so your organisation can retain its existing hardware investment. Compatible protocols and vendors are confirmed during the technical analysis at the start of the project.
02Can users cancel a charging point reservation, and what are the cancellation rules?
Users can cancel a reservation via the application up to a defined period in advance. Cancellation conditions are configured according to your organisation's own policy.
03Can corporate fleet vehicles and individual users be managed on the same platform?
The platform can host fleet and individual user profiles under separate permission levels within the same system. Custom screens and rules can be defined for each user group.
04Does QR-initiated charging require a continuous internet connection?
The QR scanning step requires a brief connection, and the process is designed to be as lightweight as possible. Fallback scenarios for connectivity interruptions can be configured to suit your organisation's requirements.
05What types of recommendation does the AI-assisted charging feature provide?
The assistant can recommend the most suitable charging point and timing based on the user's route and current battery level. For corporate fleets, it can also provide analysis oriented towards total cost optimisation.
06How can users top up a digital wallet, and which payment methods are supported?
Wallet top-ups can be made by credit card, debit card, or through invoicing systems integrated with your organisation. Supported payment methods are configured according to your preferred payment infrastructure.
07How long does integration with an existing ERP or CRM typically take?
Integration timescales depend on the architecture of your current system and its available API capacity. A technical analysis at project initiation produces a realistic schedule before any work begins.
08Can operations staff access the management dashboards from the field, including on mobile devices?
Authorised users can access the management and operator dashboards securely from any device, including mobile. Role-based access controls ensure field teams see only the data relevant to their responsibilities.
09Can organisations operating across multiple sites manage everything from a single dashboard?
Multi-site operations can be monitored by region or by individual station from a central management panel. Comparative reporting across locations is also available within the same interface.
10What does 'tailored to the organisation' mean in practice — is it a choice of pre-built themes?
Tailored to the organisation means an experience designed from the ground up around your brand identity, workflows, and user profile — not a selection from a library of templates. User journeys and interfaces are designed together with your team as part of the project.
